The Wanderer

The wanderer always
Goes far from home
No matter how close astray
Or near they go

But why dare to go away
When you’re not promised
Tomorrow to be as sure as today
Life is but a mist

I’ll go away but I will come back
You sure adamantly say
Who’s to say you’ll find the track
When darkness of habit covers your way

So here’s an idea we lay in light
Though you would think these words annoy
You would be wise to do the right
If you must, let them have their fun but you keep your joy
